Recently my maid-of-honor hosted a excellent bridal shower for me. Both my guests and I had a great time. I will always remember it. Here are 5 reasons why I think the bridal shower was so successful.

It is important for the maid-of-honor to discuss location with the bride. Bridal showers are typically at restaurants or at a person’s house.

It is up to the bride on how much you want to be involved. I literally just showed up and that was great fun.

Providing a head count can give a good estimate on food and games/activities to be done.

Schedule time line for the day
No matter how small, it helps for the flow of the party to have a time line. My maid-of-honor had a sample day which included food/mingling, games, and opening presents.

Special touches
Bridal shower can be extra memorable with the special touches that only your bridal party knows about. Some ideas include: Album (where people brought pictures), favorite snacks, favorite foods, and photos of couple.
