When I was at Walt Disney World, these are the 8 attractions I enjoyed the most.
-
Toy Story Mania

Wear 3-D glasses and enjoy an interactive ride where the goal is to shoot projectiles like eggs, darts, balls, and rings. See a variety of characters including Toy Story’s Woody, Buzz, Hmm, Bo Peep and Green Army Men. This is a very popular ride, so it’s best to get a FAST PASS. This is by far my favorite ride. I made it to the beaver (based on your score, you are given an animal).
-
Twilight Tower of Terror

The queue leads into the lobby where there is dusty furniture and eerie concierge desk. Guests then enter the library where they see a short video on the Twilight Zone. Through the boiler room, you enter to ride the elevator. This is an unusual elevator that does more than go up and down. You move horizontally as though you are entering another dimension. The drops are random, so each time is a new experience. The drops are scary, but it is an interesting ride.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

The story line is that the rockband Aerosmith invites you to a backstage party. However in order to get to the party you have to zip through nightime LA streets in a stretch limo. The start is very fast (0-58 in 2.8 seconds) so it is best to press your head against the headrest. Afterwards, it is very smooth even with the twists, 4-5G turns, three inversions in the dark. I am not a big roller coaster fan, but this was a great ride with great music!
-
Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show

A spectacular stunt show with cars and motorcycles speeding across the set. Arrive early as there are only 2-3 shows daily. Taken from Disneyland Paris, this is sure to leave you breathless. Tires squeal, cars fly, fire erupts, cars chase each other and move with synchronicity. This show is amazing! I saw it twice!
-
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular

Directly observe how stunts are performed. Sets resemble famous scenes from the Indiana Jones films including the famous rolling boulder, an Egyptian marketplace, and a flaming German airplane. If you are an adult that wants to be on stage, you may even be chosen to participate. As an Indiana Jones fan, this is another winner show.
-
Star Tours

You have to love this classic Disneyland ride, inspired by George Lucas’s Star Wars Movies. Ride a flight simulator to journey to the Moon of Endor. Beware of trouble that lurks through the ice crystals.
-
The Great Movie Ride

You can spot this ride as it’s entrance resembles the famous Hollywood Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Ride through famous scenes from classic movies (Casablanca, Public Enemy, Alien, Wizard of Oz). It is interesting as you have a tour guide riding with you!
-
Studio Backlot Tour/American Film Institute Showcase

See how battles and storms are created, then make your way towards the backlot. Board the tram and see the props, lighting and garments departments. Also be a part of Catastrophe Canyon. At the end, the showcase displays costumes from various movies.
