15 Highlights at Epcot World Showcase

Epcot World Showcase is a fun and relaxing theme park. Here are tips and places to check out while you’re here.

  1. Obtain Map and Show times guide as you explore each area.

  2. Passport is a great way to explore the park.

    You can get it “stamped” at each land by a cast member. Epcot sells these passports at any of the shops or carts for $10. It comes with a pin and a set of stickers.

  3. Explore Mexico.

    Attractions: Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros (boat ride featuring Donald Duck, Jose and Panchito).
    Foods: San Angel Inn Restaurant (table service) and Cantina de San Angel (quick service) serve a variety of Mexican cuisine including tacos and margaritas.
    Shopping: Plaza de los Amigos, El Ranchito del Norte, La Familia Fashions (sells a variety of Mexican accessories such as woodwork, jewelry , baskets, sombreros, etc.).
    Shows: Mariachi Cobre (Mariachi musicians and singers entertain inside of the Mexico pyramid).

  4. Explore Norway.

    Attractions: Maelstrom (boat ride with a “backward” stroll, complete with a splash!).
    Foods: Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (table service) and Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (quick service) serve Nordic cuisine such as seafoods, swedish meatballs.
    Shopping :P uffin’s Roost (sells a variety of Norwegian activewear, fragrances, pewter,and trolls).

  5. Explore China.

    Attractions: Reflections of China (Circle-vision 360 Film featuring Great Wall of China and Forbidden City).
    Foods: Nine Dragons Restaurant (table service) and Lotus Blossom Cafe (quick service) serve Chinese cuisine including eggrolls and low mein.
    Shopping: House of Whispering Willows and Yong Feng Shandian are filled with ancient Chinese art and antiques.
    Shows: Si Xian (classical Chinese music) and Dragon Legend Acrobats (children perform various Acrobatic acts).

  6. Explore Germany.

    Foods: Biergarten Restaurant (table service) and Sommerfest (quick service) serve German cuisine including bratwurst and beers.
    Shopping: A variety of shops from glass and porcelain items to wine.
    Shows: Octoberfest Musikanten.

  7. Explore Italy.

    Foods: Tutto Italia Restaurant (table service) serve Italian pastas and specialties.
    Shopping: Enoteca Castello, Il Bel Cristallo, and La Bottega Italiana (sells Italian delicacies to jewelry to decorative ceramics and masks).
    Shows: Sergio (Italian clown and juggler) and World Showcase Players (interactive comedy troupe).

  8. Explore The American Adventure.

    Attractions: The American Adventure (30 minute show about America and its people. Includes audio animatronics).
    Foods: Quick services Liberty Inn and Fife and Drum serve burgers and turkey legs.
    Shopping: Heritage Manor Gifts sells a vareity of patriotic clothing, flags, and books.
    Shows: Spirit of American Fife and Drum Corps and Voices of liberty (a capella choral group).

  9. Explore Japan.

    Foods: Teppan Edo (table service), Tokyo Dining (table service) and Yakitori House (quick service) serve sushi, seafood, and steak.
    Shopping: Mitsukoshi (four-century old retail store) sells a variety of Japanese foods, clothing, and memorabilia.
    Shows: Matsuriza (taiko drummers) and Miyuki (Japanese candy art).

  10. Explore Morocco.

    Foods: Restaurant Marrakesh (table service) and Tangierine cafe (quick service) serve traditional Moroccan kabobs and couscous.
    Shopping: Vareity of marketplace stores sell baskets, sandals, clothing, and drums.
    Shows: Mo’Rockin (Arabic fusion rock) and Restaurant Marrakesh (traditional music and belly dancer).

  11. Explore France.

    Attractions: Impressions de France (20 minute film shows beautiful French scnery from the Eiffel Tower to the French Alps)
    Foods: Chefs de France (table service), Bistro de Paris (table service), and Boulangerie Patisserie (quick service) serve French cuisine from quiches to escargots.
    Shopping: The stores sell famous fragrances as well as French artist themed gifts.
    Shows: Serveur Amusant (comical French waiters).

  12. Explore United Kingdom.

    Foods: Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room (table service) and Yorkshire County Fish shop (quick service) serve fish and chips and ale.
    Shopping: There are several shops, which sell tea, pottery, toys, and athletic wear.
    Shows: The British Invasion, World Showcase Players (interactive comedy troupe), and the Hat Lady (pub entertainment).

  13. Explore Canada.

    Attractions: O Canada! (Circle-vision 360 film).
    Foods: La Cellier Steakhouse (table service) serve steaks, pasta, and seafood.
    Shopping: Northwest Mercantile and La Boutique des provinces sell maple syrup. fragrances, attire, etc.
    Shows: Off Kilter (Canadian and Celtic Rock).

  14. Cut across the lagoon on the Friendship boats at either the Germany, Morocco, or Showcase plaza stops.

  15. Watch Illuminations.

    This is a spectacular nighttime show on the World Showcase Lagoon. There are a variety of fireworks displays, music, as well as a huge lighted globe that glides across the lagoon.
