Not getting tickets through venue
Tickets for sports games, concerts, theaters don’t necessarily have to be expensive. Sites like stubhub often sell tickets for great seats at a lower price than when purchased directly from the venue.

Going to the movies or renting movies
Summer is the time when great fun movies come out. Using student ID’s or going at an earlier time, can be cheaper. Also certain movie theaters can be cheaper. I found AMC to be one of the cheaper chains of movie theaters. Movies can be equally fun or comfortable from the home. Blockbuster and Netflix have great movie renting programs.

Going to State Parks
State parks offer inexpensive camping options with equal access to great areas of nature. Stateparks.com is a great website where you can access information to the parks in your state.

Personal finance is definitely on many peoples mind this summer. Thanks for the great tips! I know many people will be trying some of these activities out!
