More Summer Movies to watch in 2009

These are some more of my summer movie picks for the summer.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen to be released on June 24th

This sequel to 2007′s Transformers promises to be an action packed movie bringing back Starscream and the Decepticons. Once again, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) who killed Megatron in Transformers 1 is caughter in a battle between Decepticons and Autobots. Megatron is revived by the US Military and is now seeking revenge.

Public Enemies to be released July 1st

This movie is based on the true story of depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Johnny Depp), a charismatic bank robber, which made him the number one target of FBI and its top agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale). No one, not even jail could stop Dillinger and his gang comprised of sociopathic Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham), Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi), and Pretty Boy Floyd (Channing Tatum).

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to be released on July 15th

Based on J.K Rolling’s best selling novel, is this sixth Harry Potter installment. Young wizards Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) now face danger in both the Muggle world and wizarding world, including Hogwarts. Admist the dangers classes continue and the 6th graders learn potions from Professor Slughorn (Jim Broadbent). Love is also in the air. As the dreaded Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes)’s power, Harry Potter must work with his colleagues and Professor Dumbledore (Sir Michael Gambon) to unlock the secrets of He-who-must-not-be-named’s power.
