5 Ways to Strengthen Your Inner Confidence

  1. Being diligent

Constantly taking action helps your self-esteem grow. Those who wait and hope for something magical to happen will only gain disappointment and self-pity. Larry Page and Sergey Brin didn’t sit around and become billionaires. They kept working hard trying different ideas before coming up with Google.

  2. Push yourself even a little outside your comfort zone

To expand your maximum potential, people have to get out of their comfort zones. Real Estate tycoon Donald Trump said, “Every day, you’ll have opportunities to take chances and to work outside your safety net. Sure, it’s a lot easier to stay in your comfort zone.. in my case, business suits and real estate.. but sometimes you have to take risks. When the risks pay off, that’s when you reap the biggest rewards.”

Sneaking in exercise

It is hard for me to exercise when it feels like I’m putting great effort. Gyms don’t even motivate me, despite the cost because the effort of going is too much. I have to do things pretty subtle. For example, instead of taking the elevator up a floor, I take the stairs. A 150 pound person can burn 525 calories walking up the stairs for thirty minutes. Instead of taking the short way walking, I take the slightly longer way.

Changing the 5 W’s and how you eat

A nutritionist recently shared an easy 6 step way to evaluate your eating pattern. Here are 6 things to consider.

  • What you eat

It is easy to eat non-healthy foods because it is all around us, not to mention tasty! However, it is important to understand that non-healthy foods deprive the body of proper nutrients. The FDA suggests having a healthy food plan to consist of a balanced diet, with equal amounts of vegetables, protein, some fat, etc. Below is the new food pyramid, which outlines the food balance requirements.
