Making Father’s Day pretty much every day

- Giving a short phone call
In this day and age, where time is of the essence even 5 minutes tends to be treasure. Therefore, the value of talking with your dad for 5 minutes is much appreciated.

Sending email-ecards..glitter!
Benefits of modern day technology: Email! It can be done at work (secretly-wink wink-) Now in addition to regular email or ecards, you can buff it up with various text such as one of my favorite.. mytextgraphics, (as used above) which offers many choices of text generators from glitter text to even father’s day text. They were even recently featured in the Wall Street Journal as a competitive text generator site.

Plan for a vacation, excursion
Dad’s will appreciate even the shortest of the excursions. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. With my dad, we enjoy playing golf together. At least once a year, we plan to go for a round of golf and it is great fun. On nights where we don’t have fun, we enjoy drinking wine and chatting about our various weeks.

Send a random gift
Surprise him! The more special gifts are the ones that aren’t on the holidays or one day a year.. Especially Father’s day should be everyday, not limited to one day a year.

Plan a lunch or dinner
Meals are always a great time to come together. You can literally pick up where you left off and also enjoy a meal. My dad is a chef so of course usually this meant going over to his house and having his meal. Once in a while I will surprise him by making him a meal (it’s hard to compete against a chef, but he appreciates my effort)
