5 ways to reduce stress at work

  1. Make a rubber band ball

This is a creative way to reduce stress and get rid of all the rubber bands all over the place. It’s a great decoration and also an additional tool to play with. It’s important to have fun at work because after all you spend at least 40 hours/ week of your life at work. That’s 2080 hours per year. Just be careful not to snap your fingers with the rubber bands.

  2. Exercise

This is a proven stress buster technique. My mom likes to take a walk and go up and down the stairs at work. When she doesn’t have time for that she does mini stretches in her office. Exercising is a great way to help regain your energy and prevent workplace injuries.

  3. Squeeze a stress ball.

When you’re stressed, the body shows a variety of signals. Your neck might tense up, your head might hurt, and many more uncomfortable symptoms. There is something to be said about releasing your stress physically. That is why the previous point of exercise can be a great stress reducer. Another is squeezing a stress ball. You can take out your anger of your incompetent boss or coworker without any harm.

  4. Organize your desk

Cleaning can not only clear your mind but literally clean off your desk. It increases productivity and can give a great peace of mind.

  5. Clean out your Inbox

Along the same lines, looking at 100 emails can make anyone stressed out. Taking time to clean your Inbox is a great use of your time and a great way to get away from the monotony of your work day.
