Disneyland Monorail

After numerous trips to Disneyland and research from former cast members like my boyfriend, here are some tips that I found to be helpful in maximizing your fun time at Disneyland. This will be a 2 part series! Today’s will focus on admission, parking, and planning for large groups and children.

Admission:

  • Buying your tickets ahead of time can save you the hassle of waiting in line at the ticket booth. You can purchase tickets, as well as annual passes at grocery stores such as Vons and Ralphs. In addition, you can purchase tickets online through the Disneyland Resort homepage

  • Get to the park early. You can check admission times through the Disneyland Resort Homepage

Children:

Parking:

  • Disneyland Resort parking is a huge lot. Fortunately, there are characters in addition to letters and colors to help you locate where you are. You can also scratch and/or circle the area on your parking ticket.

Large groups:

  • If you have a large group, specify meeting times and have specific locations. Have a backup plan in case members don’t show up. For example, your group might plan to meet in front of the Walt Disney Statue on Main Street between 9 PM-9:15 PM. However, if your member doesn’t show up at 9:15 PM then meet at 11 PM in front of the R at the California Adventure entrance.

Please share your thoughts and more tips!! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s blog on tips for Attractions, Dining, and Shopping.
